The Portage la Prairie Planning District Board, with the support of Way To Go Consulting Inc., is seeking an individual that will bring strong leadership skills to this position. Key responsibilities of the position include:
Ideally, you will possess technical skills and experience in municipal planning and development, financial management and human resource management. Strong communication, analytical and leadership skills are just some of the requirements of the position. Candidates who have post-secondary education in a relevant discipline bring an educational advantage to the position.
The Portage la Prairie Planning District is in the south-central part of Manitoba, serving the planning and development needs of the City and Rural Municipality of Portage la Prairie. To ensure the highest level of service, regular attendance at City and Rural Municipality Council meetings by the General Manager is expected.
